Boulder, Colorado
When Nyxi reached out for a Colorado portrait session, she immediately showed her personality. She asked if I’d be open to shooting with a large prop: her motorcycle. I thought that was hilarious, and of course, I agreed. While we weren’t able to include the motorcycle this time, Nyxi brought every bit of that bold, biker energy to her Colorado portraits.
From the moment we started, it was clear she’s a force. She’s smart, kind, and perceptive, with a presence that commands attention. She moves through the world unapologetically, and it was a joy to capture that energy in her portraits. Every pose, expression, and moment reflected her confidence, humor, and authenticity.

We focused on capturing the essence of who Nyxi is, in her strength, curiosity, and vibrancy. Some images were playful, some introspective, but all of them highlighted the magnetic energy she brings into any space. Sessions like this remind me that Colorado portraits aren’t just about aesthetics, they’re about translating personality, spirit, and individuality into every frame.
Working with Nyxi was an incredible experience. She brought her full self to the session, and that trust allowed us to create images that truly represent her. Whether with a prop or without, the energy, confidence, and personality she shared made these Colorado portraits unforgettable.
