Boulder, Colorado
Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Dueling Pianos Fundraiser, a Colorado event that perfectly blended great music, community spirit, and a powerful cause—the Autism Society of Boulder County. The energy in the room was palpable as two incredibly talented pianists took the stage, battling it out with song requests from the crowd, and bringing a contagious energy that had everyone laughing, singing, and dancing.
But beyond the fun and entertainment, there was something deeper at play. The night was all about raising awareness and funds for the incredible work the Autism Society of Boulder County does. This organization supports families, individuals, and the broader community with resources, education, and programs that foster inclusion and understanding for those affected by autism. Watching the crowd cheer, clap, and get involved in the event’s activities—whether it was bidding on silent auction items, entering raffles, or just supporting each other—was a reminder of how much we can accomplish when we come together for a cause that truly matters.

One of the highlights for me was seeing so many people, from all walks of life, come together not just to enjoy the music, but to make a tangible difference in the lives of those with autism. The generosity of the crowd, whether through donations or simply by showing up to enjoy the night, spoke volumes about the strength of this community.
As the night wound down, I reflected on the power of events like these to not only raise funds, but to build awareness, foster connection, and remind us that we all have a part to play in creating a more inclusive world.
