There is something incredibly meaningful about documenting Denver family portraits in the space they call home. I recently had the honor of photographing Piotrek, his wife, and their sweet toddler, Mateus, in the home where they began this chapter of their lives together. With an upcoming move from Colorado to New Jersey on the horizon, this session became about so much more than family portraits. It was about preserving memories in the place that held so many firsts for them as a family of three.

The Big Move

From quiet moments in the nursery to playful time spent together in the living room, every part of this session felt personal and full of love. Mateus brought so much joy and curiosity to the shoot, and it was so special watching the three of them interact naturally in a space that means so much to them. These are the kinds of moments that make in home sessions so powerful. The familiar surroundings help everyone feel comfortable, relaxed, and fully themselves.
